| Grilled Asparagus with cherry tomatoes and cheese

Prepare grilled asparagus as instructed, and simply add cherry tomatoes halved, and your favorite grated cheese.
Variations: Chilled asparagus/tomato salad- this is a great leftover salad After grilling asparagus, refrigerate until cold. Cut asparagus into 1 to 2 inch pieces Cut cherry or grape tomatoes in half Mix together gently in chilled bowl Add a sprinkle of salt and pepper, some fresh parsley and basil Drizzle with a small amount of olive oil and lemon and/or lime juice.
Asparagus Gratin: After grilling asparagus, place in heavy cassarole dish. Add tomatoes and shredded cheese and bake in 425 degree oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with toasted bread crumbs and serve.
Toasted Bread Crumbs: Heat one teaspoon of olive oil and one teaspoon of butter in frying pan until butter is melted. Add 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon parsley and 1/4 cup grated parmesian cheese. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until all oil is absorbed and bread crumbs become toasted.
