Ingredients:
4 lb pork roast 1/2 tsp salt 3 Tbs soy sauce 1/2 tsp sesame oil 2 Tbs white wine 3 tsp hoisin sauce 3 cloves garlic, crushed 1/2 cup sugar 3 tsp oyster sauce 1 tsp ground ginger 4 Tbs honey + 3 drops red food coloring
Preparation:
In large bowl mix salt, soy sauce, sesame oil, wine, hoisin sauce, garlic, sugar, oyster sauce and ginger.
Place pork in ziplock bag and pour marinade into bag. Make sure pork is coated evenly and set aside to marinade for 20 to 30 minutes.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place pork in roasting pan, reserving marinade, and bake, uncovered for 20 minutes. Turn over, brush with marinade and cook another 15 minutes.
In microwave, heat honey until it is pourable. Add red food coloring and mix well. Brush or pour over pork and bake another 10 minutes.
Let sit 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
