Dry Rub Baby Back Ribs



These ribs are so succulent you will never use barbeque sauce again!!


Hot Rub

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chili powder
2 Tablespoons cayenne pepper
2 Tablespoons ancho chili powder
2 Tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons cumin
1 Tablespoon Mexican or Mediterranean Oregano
Fresh Lemon

Preparation:

Mix all ingredients together  and rub on both sides of ribs.  Sqeeze 1/4 of a lemon on meat side of ribs.
Cook on very low grill, bone side down for 45 minutes, squeezing 1/4 of a lemon every 15 minutes.
Turn and cook meat side down for last 15 minutes.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice on just before serving.
 Mild Rub

Ingredients:

1/2 cup chili powder
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
2 Tablespoons salt
1 Tablespoon parsley
Fresh Orange



Preparation:

Same as hot rub, except use orange juice instead of lemon juice.
